Adjustable Pallet Racking ( also known as APR)

Standard Aisle or Wide Aisle Pallet Racking

Adjustable Pallet Racking Adjustable Pallet Racking Far and away the most widely used storage system for palletised loads. Many sizes available and easily adjustable to cope with the many and varied products needing to be stored.
Low set-up cost – No specialist handling equipment or building requirements needed.
Often designed around customer’s existing handling equipment, single or double sided runs of pallet racking are separated by wide aisles, allowing standard fork lifts to be used.
A wide range of standard pallet racking accessories complete the package allowing the efficient and safe storage of many items.
Galvanised pallet racking is also available for the storage of products outside or in damp, cold internal environments.

Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking

Adjustable Pallet Racking Using the same components as standard pallet racking, the aisles are much narrower and often the bays much higher, creating a much greater pallet storage capacity in the same floor space.
Pallets are accessed by articulated or specialist trucks guided by a floor wire or floor mounted guide rails.
A very narrow aisle pallet racking system is also available, going much higher and using automated pallet retrieval systems.

Drive-in Pallet Racking

A high density approach, using standard fork lift trucks driving into a block of racking bays with the pallets being stored on skids.
Used mainly where a small number of product lines are stored, due to the first pallet in, being the last pallet out (unless the ‘drive-through’ option is used).
Also used in warehouses for ‘marshalling’ of large quantities of the same product before onward distribution.

Push Back Pallet Racking

Push Back Pallet Racking Another high density system allowing the use of standard fork lift trucks. Pallets are stored 3 to 4 deep on moving carriers, when a new pallet is loaded at the front the others are pushed back and vice versa.
This pallet racking system again is a first in last out storage system with access only from the front.

Pallet Live Storage

A high density pallet storage system giving good stock rotation with first in first out pallet delivery.
Standard fork trucks are used to load on the rear input face, pallets are stored on roller beds gently sloping forward. When the front pallet is removed from the output face the rest roll down.

Mobile Pallet Racking

Extremely high density and often used in cold stores. Only one aisle is needed to access many runs of pallet racking. Each run is mounted on a mobile base and moved along rails to open up the retrieval aisle.
